Dear Ms. Sutorius:

I hope this letter comes to you in a time of need even though I hope I do not have a time of need in the future. I want to start off by saying I am very proud of you for finishing Early College and I hope I am still in college. I know there may be that chance that something has got in the way of college but I want us to continue on, I want a good life for myself. If so, I hope that you are keeping up your grades and are working your hardest in all your classes. But if things are not going so well I want you to know that it will get better and I am not just saying that.

Remember all the dreams you had, Sara. Remember how you want to make your parents proud by doing well in school like they could not. Do not forget about how you want to be able to enjoy your life too. Remember that you want to have a well paying job that you like and that you will not work at a job you will not enjoy. Do not start settling for less than you deserve because you have made it sixteen years without doing so. Do not forget that when things got hard you did not let anyone see you crack or crumble you kept your head up and looked forward.

Do not forget who was there for you when you cried yourself to sleep at night. Do not forget who made you cookies when you were down. You can not let Sammy, Maysel, Jaden, and Sidney slip away from you, Sara. These people made you smile when you where mad and made you laugh when your heart was broken. Keep your head up doll-face! Remember how you stopped caring what others thought of you because you knew what you are capable of. I do not believe there is anything out there that you can not do because I know the motivation that you have is strong.

Keep moving forward,

Sara Sutorius
