Stop-Motion Love Story

For our English extra credit, Sammy and I made a love story about two hands. These two hands fall in love, get married, and then fly off into the sunset.

I Do Not Forgive Easily

 They say forgiveness is a part of life,

But they never said I had to.

Words still cut me like a knife,

I never forgot what was said.

Why do we forgive those who do not deserve it?

Do I honestly believe people will change?

I guess I will just end up throwing another fit.

I find it hard to forgive anyone now,

It seems gossip is all anyone does anymore.

But I have made myself a vow,

I will not care what they say.

I am sure they still talk about me,

It is not like I do not see them anymore.

But honestly I will not forgive thee,

Some do not deserve it.

I am sure if I forgave them my life would be different.

I am sure it would get better for a while,

But I will not be that ignorant.

I will not crash again.

They say forgiveness is the key to happiness,

But I think that it is not true.

Forgiveness will lead to nastiness,

When I forgive them repeatedly.

Forgiveness is something that has to be earned,

And I do not believe anything has changed.

Maybe someday people will finally learn,

I do not forgive easily.

Love and Companionship.

There are many many ups and downs to being human and love is both an up and down. Love and companionship are not really an option though, we all experience it. Even if it is just loving an animal, we all love.  I think that it is something that we can not choose. We do not get to pick who we fall in love with or how long we love them for, it is just a part of being human. Even if I may think that sometimes love is just more of a down for us, it is also a very good thing. Without love I do not think people would try to be their best, I believe that they would not worry about hurting another persons feelings. I also think that love brings people together. If Maysel and I did not both love the Beatles maybe I would have never talked to her and we would have never been best friends. If I did not become friends with Maysel then I may have never became friends with Sammy. But most of all, I think companionship is what keeps us smiling. It does not have to be marriage but it could be a close friend or maybe a pet that keeps us smiling knowing they will always love us. Companionship is a great thing because I can never have a bad day with my best friends around because they will not let me, they will go out of their way to make me smile. I am happy to think that one day I might meet someone who I can go on road trips and build forts with.
