Early College

Many others would assume that being in Early College is not like a normal high school but we are still have normal struggles. We experience the same problems as a regular high school student just not at a high school. During my high school experience I have encountered academic struggles, accomplishments, which set future goals.
I have encountered many academic struggles. One of my biggest struggles is memorization because I can not remember vocabulary or if we had homework. Another is procrastination. If you give me a week to complete an assignment, I will probably start it on the last day or so. Lastly, I struggle with communication. I rarely ask questions I should ask. Even though I have struggled, I have also accomplished things.
I have encountered academic accomplishments during high school too. One accomplishment I am very proud of is that I have had a 3.0 GPA all high school. Another accomplishment is that this year I have received two perfects on two of my math test which has never happened before. Lastly, I received on A on my first English paper this year which is a great start! These accomplishments have set my future goals.
Through high school I am setting academic aspirations. One of my goals is to maintain a 3.0 GPA so more colleges will want me. Another is to get a full scholarship to college so I do not have to worry about student loans. Lastly I want to graduate from college and become a teacher so I can be happy with my job. These aspirations will set me up for my future.
Early College has caused me academic struggles, some accomplishments, and even helped me set future goals. High school has not been a walk in the park but I know it is defying who am and who I will be. After all, they say these are the years we will remember.

  1. Sara, I think you are a hard worker even if you do procrastinate... Be sure to proofread your writing. This will help eliminate any silly mistakes.
