Truth Vs. Lie

In an extremely difficult situation is it better to tell the truth or lie? I mean is it better to hide the truth? I do not believe so because I feel that honesty is most important in any situation. For example, if I am in a burning building where some people have already got killed by the fire and I need to get someone out who is looking for another person I witnessed get killed, I am not going to lie and say that they got out. After I get them out what are they going to do when they do find out then? I would rather tell them that person did not make it out and the continue helping them out. They can either except it an leave or freak out and run. I feel like it is better to tell them then because if they get out of the building and then find out anything can happen. Being honest is always better than a lie because the truth will always come out sooner or later.

Early College

Many others would assume that being in Early College is not like a normal high school but we are still have normal struggles. We experience the same problems as a regular high school student just not at a high school. During my high school experience I have encountered academic struggles, accomplishments, which set future goals.
I have encountered many academic struggles. One of my biggest struggles is memorization because I can not remember vocabulary or if we had homework. Another is procrastination. If you give me a week to complete an assignment, I will probably start it on the last day or so. Lastly, I struggle with communication. I rarely ask questions I should ask. Even though I have struggled, I have also accomplished things.
I have encountered academic accomplishments during high school too. One accomplishment I am very proud of is that I have had a 3.0 GPA all high school. Another accomplishment is that this year I have received two perfects on two of my math test which has never happened before. Lastly, I received on A on my first English paper this year which is a great start! These accomplishments have set my future goals.
Through high school I am setting academic aspirations. One of my goals is to maintain a 3.0 GPA so more colleges will want me. Another is to get a full scholarship to college so I do not have to worry about student loans. Lastly I want to graduate from college and become a teacher so I can be happy with my job. These aspirations will set me up for my future.
Early College has caused me academic struggles, some accomplishments, and even helped me set future goals. High school has not been a walk in the park but I know it is defying who am and who I will be. After all, they say these are the years we will remember.

Cyber Bullying

Since our generation spends most of their time on the Internet bullying has followed. People think because they do not have to see the person face to face that it is okay for them to bully them but it still has the same negative effect. I think everyone can say they have been bullied online and if they do not they are very lucky or are lying. In my opinion people are more harsh and unforgiving online than in person because they can hide in their house while saying it. They are cowards. Maybe they have problems at home or jealous of them and they feel better when they see them hurt but that does not make it right. I can not believe how many people commit suicide because people bully them online. Our world is a sad world where we put others down to make ourselves feel better.

Belongings

People do not have the right to claim things that do not belong to them. What makes it ok for someone to take? Is it because they are bigger than them? But then how would they feel if someone took their belongings? They would not like it they old fight back. So what is different about them? It is nothing, we are all equals. Our belongings are our belongings and nothing makes it okay for anyone to take them. Although taking is wrong, it is what happened all throughout history. When someone thinks they are bigger and better they take from the smaller and weaker. This is not right.
